Great set, outstanding value Review by Shearcut

This is a very nice set, well proportioned with a good finish. The pieces are well detailed, especially the knights which are especially attractive and well executed. The set is a comfortable size to use, with good balance and weight. The shesham wood pieces are well matched in color with attractive grain. The boxwood is, of course, also uniform in color with very little grain. Considering the size of the pieces and quality of the workmanship, this set is an outstanding value.
This is my second purchase from Chess Bazaar and on both occasions they could not have been more responsive or accommodating. I received prompt answers to my questions, and two pieces which were received damaged were immediately replaced. In my experience, Chess Bazaar's service quality and price are exceptional.
