Features: The 1966 lanier graham reproduction chess pieces offers a 2.79" King with a diameter of 0.78" and all chess pieces are unweighted. The chess pieces have no felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made after dyeing the boxwood with an organic black color and the lighter chess pieces are made of Boxwood.



History:
Lanier Graham was born on 6th March 1940 in Oklahama, United States was a museum curator and art historian. He had a great interest in art, poetry and printmaking. He 
designed the minimalist modern art chess set frequently known as the MoMA Chess Set. In 1965, Mr. Graham began his career at the Museum of Modern Art aka MoMA as a Ford fellow and have designed this architectural chess set. 

A very few original copies of this chess sets is available and chessbazaar is proud to bring the reproduction of this minamilist chess set to the masses.
