Combo of Reproduced 19th Century Antique Series Chess Set with Wooden Board in Rose & Antiqued Box Wood - 4.3" King

Extremely rare 19th mid century Dublin pattern chess pieces with a king height of 4.2" and a base diameter of 1.7". The pieces are rugged and have thick green felt on their bases. This chess set features chessmen that are crafted with a combination of rosewood and antiqued boxwood. Rosewood is rarer wood and more desirable for the dark side chess pieces. The opposing pieces are made of antiqued boxwood. All chess pieces are expertly crafted and double weighted for fantastic hand-feel and a very nice thud on the chess board. Chess pieces have unique collar ring and thick green felt on their bases for smooth movement on the wooden chess board.

Chess Pieces Weight : 1590 grams approx. (56.08 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.

This beautiful Board is made of Dark Brown Rose Wood on darker side and Box Wood on the lighter side. This sale is for the Chess Board alone and the pieces are NOT INCLUDED with the set. You can buy a matching Chess Pieces separately from our store. 
The size of the Board is 21" x 21" (53.3 cm x 53.3 cm) and the Board is 20 mm thick. The Squares are 2.2" x 2.2" (55 mm x 55 mm).
