This peerless 2016 Bridle series chess set is made up of bud rosewood and boxwood. The King proudly stands at 4.2 inches and its base is robust 1.9 inches. This is a classic design featuring the magnificent and strong bridle knight. Superb size proportioning from king to the pawn exhibits true intricate craftsmanship in all the pieces. Dark chess pieces are exquisitely crafted in bud rosewood. The opposing pieces are made of boxwood which is traditionally used for white side. It is one of the fairly easy woods to work with and shows off aesthetic detail.
