We are pleased to announce the Giant Monstrous Series Staunton Chess Pieces heirloom quality chess set exquisitely made from bud rosewood and natural boxwood. The King proudly stands at 6 inches and its base is robust 2.5 inches. This is a huge chess set featuring the magnificently robust and gigantic knight. The Dark chess pieces are exquisitely crafted in bud rosewood. Because of its rarity, bud rosewood chess pieces are the primary choice of many chess enthusiasts. Bud rose wood is an alluring wood and probably the most admired wood for luxury chess sets.

 

Weight: 5600 grams (197.53 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%. The opposing pieces are made of boxwood which is traditionally used for white side. It is one of the fairly easy woods to work with and shows off aesthetic detail.
