I bought this set of chessmen because I was fascinated with the knights. I had never, and still have not ever seen knights like these - they are quite handsome and appear to have a flattop haircut! The tops of their heads as you look down on them are completely flat. It takes a little while to get used to them but I am now quite fond of them.

I'm a great fan of new designs that do not totally abandon the Staunton theme.
