The Reproduced Old Soviet Series features a 4.1" King with a 1.69" base. This 34-piece weighted set includes 2 extra queens and thick green felt bases for smooth movement. Dark pieces are Ebonized (Gardenia Latifolia), while light pieces are natural Boxwood (Gardenia Latifolia).

Each chess piece boasts exquisite lathe work, unique collar rings, and elegant curves. Knights feature distinct carvings, while the rook has four turret cuts. The king€™s finial and queen€™s ball contrast in color, a hallmark of Soviet/Russian sets. Designed for stability, this set omits religious symbols like the king's crown and bishop€™s mitre cut.

Weight: 1050 grams approx. (37.03 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus 10%.
